My responsibilities

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the operations and services of a shared service organization and support the day-to-day delivery for the business
  • Review and assess tender proposals from business partners from a commercial perspective, and support the preparation of subsequent contract negotiations
  • Track and manage existing business initiatives in line with internal guidelines
  • Support the identification of new business opportunities, including the calculation and analysis of financial impacts
  • Liaise with external service providers to ensure accurate data and reporting for the shared service organization and its client groups
  • Prepare reports based on financial, operational, and process KPIs to track performance
  • Contribute to defining and implementing methodologies and operating frameworks for group-wide controlling, including value tracking as well as controlling results and costs
  • Support financial planning and forecasting for the shared service organization
  • Manage the service organization budget, and support the integration of costs and expected benefits into global plans
  • Create project status reports for internal stakeholders and prepare presentations for international leadership meetings

The knowledge I own

  • University degree in Economics or Business
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in controlling, project management, and/or finance
  • Experience in creating business plans and financial models
  • Independent, proactive, and enthusiastic working style with a high level of initiative
  • Strong analytical skills and a precise, detail-oriented mindset
  • Confident communication and effective collaboration in an international, cross-functional environment
  • Advanced Excel skills, proficiency in PowerPoint is an advantage
  • Fluent English, German language skills are an advantage
  • Openness to working in a growing team, with an active role in shaping everyday operations of the shared service organization
  • Confident performance in a dynamic, “startup” style environment where processes, responsibilities, and organizational structures are continuously evolving
