My responsibilities:
- Integrate security tools into development and operations processes as part of DevSecOps
- Implement security-related CI/CD templates with and for internal customers to ensure a holistic view of security
- Drive automation efforts to standardize and centralize security requirements—for example in Infrastructure-as-Code and Policy-as-Code projects
- Lead reporting on compliance with security standards, with the goal of high transparency across all projects
- Proactively share knowledge in Community of Practices (CoP) with security and development colleagues on secure software development practices
The knowledge I own:
- Knowledge in a scripting or programming language—ideally Python, PowerShell, or Terraform
- Understanding of well-known software vulnerabilities, and the common countermeasures to address them (advantageous)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as adapting, extending, or improving existing or new pipelines
- Familiarity with a hyperscaler of your choice
