My responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation and continuous learning 
  • Drive the professional growth, coaching and career development of engineers and tech leads 
  • Build and maintain an inclusive, collaborative and performance-oriented engineering culture 
  • Manage employee performance through regular feedback, performance reviews and development planning 
  • Participate in recruitment, talent acquisition and onboarding activities to continuously strengthen the engineering organization 
  • Own the successful delivery of software, platform or automation initiatives aligned with business objectives 
  • Manage capacity planning, workload prioritization and resource allocation across engineering teams 
  • Establish and monitor key engineering metrics, KPIs and SLAs to ensure sustainable delivery performance 
  • Oversee incident management and resolution of critical situations through effective stakeholder communication and technical leadership 
  • Support technology modernization initiatives and evaluate emerging technologies to create business value 
  • Partner with architects, product owners and business stakeholders to align technology roadmaps with company objectives 
  • Champion Agile ways of working across teams, leveraging Scrum, Kanban and DevOps practices 

 

The knowledge I own:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Engineering, Application Development, Platform Engineering, AI Development, DevOps or Agile Delivery environments 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading and developing engineering teams 
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technology initiatives in fast-paced and dynamic environments 
  • Experience working with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies and modern engineering practices 
  • Strong understanding of Software Engineering or Platform Engineering or DevOps or Automation and AI-driven solutions 
  • Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban and continuous delivery practices 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences 
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving capabilities 
  • Passion for engineering excellence, innovation and continuous improvement 
  • Ability to successfully lead teams through organizational and technological change 
  • Strong coaching and servant leadership mindset with a focus on team empowerment and growth 
  • Self-starter approach with a proactive and strategic mindset 
  • Open-minded and curious about emerging technologies and engineering trends 
  • Strong ownership mentality and commitment to delivering measurable business outcomes 
  • Excellent English language skills; German language knowledge is an advantage 
  • Willingness to undertake occasional international business travel
