Your responsibilities:
- Leading the defect management function across multiple release streams, ensuring consistent standards and timely resolution across all involved parties
- Supporting post-go-live hypercare activities — gathering and analysing production incidents, collaborating with the Test Factory to improve test suites, and ensuring lessons learned are captured and acted upon
- Defining and evolving defect management processes, severity definitions and escalation procedures
- Governing defect management standards across all parties, ensuring testers, system integrators and development teams follow consistent processes
- Providing training on correct defect handling methodology to internal and external project members
- Driving continuous improvement in the defect management environment
- Representing defect management in cross-organisational steering committees, providing quality input for release decisions
The knowledge I own:
- 5+ years of experience in defect management or quality assurance, including complex multi-stream environments with multiple execution parties
- Excellent analytical skills and proven experience with root cause analysis methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills— able to bridge technical and business perspectives
- Deep experience with defect tracking tools and ITSM platforms
- Good command of written and spoken English
Nice-to-have:
- ISTQB Advanced Level certification
- Experience with ITIL v4 Problem Management and Continual Improvement practices
- Experience in ERP-centric environments (e.g. SAP S/4HANA)
- ITIL v4 practitioner: Problem Management, Change Enablement
- Agile/Scrum practitioner
