My responsibilities:
As a Senior Team Lead (M365 Infrastructure Operations) within the International IT Services department of ALDI Süd, you would lead a team of around 10-18 people and provide a comprehensive IT service.
- Ensuring quality standards, increasing customer satisfaction
- Optimal allocation of daily workload and workforce management
- Ensure the continuous development, training and coaching for the team members
- Participate in the selection of new staff and in the training of new recruits
- Managing employee performance to ensure that productivity goals are being met
- Reviewing employee performance reports to identify areas of weakness that needs improvement
- Drive continuous improvement of Operations to meet annual KPI and SLA targets
- Manage and resolve critical situations through effective communication
- Working daily with the HR department and other partner departments
- Working daily with stakeholders and customers to ensure continuous communication and collaboration
- Responsible for the excellent delivery of the service / product within the department
The knowledge I own:
- At least 5 years of experience in operating a service or a product, preferably as an M365 or Exchange Engineer
- At least 2 years of experience in people management
- Deep understanding of the ITIL methodology, with a preference for candidates holding an ITIL Foundation or/and Service Operation certificate
- Professional knowledge of IT basics, including software, hardware, and network fundamentals
- Understanding of Agile, SCRUM, Kanban is an advantage
- Having gained experience in a fast-paced environment
- Having superior organizational skills
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with international stakeholders. Additionally German is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to the team and the stakeholders
- Strong team and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on problem-solving
- Self-starter with a proactive and analytical mindset, able to identify and address operational challenges proactively
- Flexibility in handling new tasks and change management, adapting to evolving business needs and priorities
- Commitment to working on a continuous basis
- Leading by example
- Open minded and good understanding of new IT solutions
