Senior Team Leader - Software Development

My responsibilities:

  • As a Senior Team Lead within the International IT Services department of ALDI Süd, you would lead a team of 10-15 people.
  • Ensuring quality standards, increasing customer satisfaction
  • Optimal allocation of daily workload
  • Ensure the continuous development, training and coaching for the team members
  • Participate in the selection of new staff and in the training of new recruits
  • Managing employee performance to ensure that productivity goals are being met
  • Reviewing employee performance reports to identify areas of weakness that needs improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement of Operations to meet annual KPI and SLA targets
  • Initiate SCRUM based process development
  • Manage and resolve critical situations through effective communication
  • Working daily with the HR department and other partner departments

The knowledge I own:

  • At least 4 years of experience in software development projects, application management or in an agile environment
  • At least 2 years experience in people management area
  • Deep understanding of Agile, SCRUM, Kanban
  • Having gained experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Having superior organizational skills
  • Excellent English skills, additionally German is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter, proactive and analytical mindset
  • Flexibility in terms of new tasks and change management
  • Commitment to working on a continuous basis
  • Leading by example
  • Open minded and good understanding of new IT solutions
  • Willing to occasional business travels
