My responsibilities:
- main responsibility is manual testing (regression testing, bug retest, explorative testing)
- planning and implementation of quality assurance measures and software tests for our global IT systems
- development and implementation of test cases and scenarios (functional and integration tests)
- preparation of test documentation and evaluation of test results
- supporting test phases
- analysis, classification of encountered issues
- cooperation with our international IT departments and external partners
The knowledge I own:
- studies or training with a focus on information technology
- 1-3 years of professional experience in software testing and/or practical experience in the field of IT operation (Windows Server 2016, MS Hypervisor)
- basic network and Linux knowledge is an advantage
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is an advantage
- experience with automated testing is an advantage
- good knowledge of various test methods and IT procedure models
- knowledge of software and system architectures as well as in the creation of database queries (MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
- very good knowledge of English
- knowledge of German is an advantage
