Your responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing complex, multi-system automation workflows and custom integrations
- Replacing manual steps with scalable, event-driven solutions and high-performance logic
- Acting as the go-to authority for workflow optimization, error handling, and security protocols
- Translating business needs into technical specification and presenting them to stakeholders
- Coordinating API-based integrations with third-party SaaS providers
- Implementing reviews, data sets and evaluations within workflows
- Managing deployments via Git
- Maintaining self-hosted n8n instances (Docker), managing version upgrades, and performance tuning
The knowledge I own:
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Strong commitment to creating maintainable, readable, and testable software (SOLID, DRY, KISS)
- Working experience with scripting languages (Python or Javascript)
- Mastery of complex nodes (Merge, Code, Wait, Error Triggers), expression editor, and data transformation techniques
- Strong ability to write custom logic within the Code node, handling arrays, objects, and complex data structures
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, Webhooks, OAuth2 authentication, and JSON data structure
- Proficiency in both Relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) for structured and unstructured data storage
- Experience with message brokers and queue handling (e.g., RabbitMQ, Redis Queue) to ensure reliable, asynchronous processing of high-volume tasks
- Experience with Docker-based environments, environment variables, and self-hosted instance maintenance
Nice-to have (n8n specialization): - n8n Certifications: n8n Level 1; n8n Level 2
- Production experience in n8n automation
- Proficiency in Git-based workflow management and CI/CD principles for automation
