Your responsibilities:

You secure and harden Active Directory and related identity components at L3 level. You use security tooling, address assessment outcomes, and validate resilience through structured recovery tests.

  • Perform AD security assessments and hardening activities
  • Use and interpret AD security tools (including PingCastle, DSP or similar tooling)
  • Implement remediation actions from pen tests/assessments and verify effectiveness
  • Plan, execute, and document recovery/restore tests and improve operational procedures/runbooks
  • Support incident/problem management by applying AD security expertise
  • Contribute to security standards, technical guidance, and continuous improvement

The knowledge I own:

Must-haves

  • Strong English proficiency (required) -fluent inwritten and spoken communication
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Active Directory security
  • Experience working with pen test/assessment findings and translating them into remediation and verification
  • Experience using AD security tools for diagnosis and reporting
  • Structured documentation and a methodical approach

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with crisis/incident scenarios and recovery runbooks
  • Background knowledge around adjacent identity topics (Kerberos, trusts, certificates, etc.)
  • German language skills
