My responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain backend services using C# and .NET, adhering to specifications and internal coding standards
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend logic to support business processes, including validation, transformation, and persistence
- Integrate with SAP systems using the SAP .NET Connector (NCO), including synchronous and asynchronous proxy calls
- Ensure data consistency and robustness when communicating with SAP S/4HANA and other external systems
- Deploy, configure, and maintain .NET services on on-premise Windows Server infrastructure
- Monitor service health, performance, and availability using appropriate tools (e.g., Windows Event Logs, Performance Monitor)
- Ensure proper logging and error handling are in place to support traceability and operational diagnostics
- Maintain service configurations and schedules (e.g., Windows Services, Task Scheduler) to support integration jobs or periodic data syncs with SAP systems
- Provide 3rd-level support for critical incidents affecting production environments
- Work as part of a cross-functional agile team, actively participating in planning, refinement, and review sessions
The knowledge I own:
- Approximately 3–5 years of experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on C# and .NET (must)
- Solid experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services (must)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) (must)
- Experience integrating SAP systems using SAP NCO (.NET Connector) (should)
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and working with SAP Proxy interfaces (should)
- Ability to script and interpret UML diagrams to support system design and documentation (should)
- Exprience with JavaScript (should)
Product specific skills (not mandatory but nice to have): - ABBYY Vantage Object Model (nice to have)
- ABBYY advanced designer training/certification (nice to have)
