Your responsibilities:
- Lead Developer responsible for a set of Power BI-based reports, which provide fact-based transparency on the ALDI DX's Release and Test Management team’s operations
- Engaging with the stakeholder groups like release managers, test coordinators, directors, and senior management
- Providing reports containing detailed hourly operational data, aggregated managerial status and tactical release-on-release comparisons
- Developing metrics and KPIs to enable the Release and Test Management team to continuously improve and validate the impact of their measures
- Participating in design and technical discussions with the team, coaching team members in data engineering and Power BI development
- Liaising with report stakeholders and technical teams responsible for the reporting platform and data source
The knowledge I own:
- Practical experience with M365 tools (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
Advanced knowledge of writing, interpreting, and reading MSSQL queries (Window functions, UNION, JOIN, Aggregate functions, Comfortable with complex WHERE clauses, CTE, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric AND/OR Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep Builder
Experience in datalake technologies: EDLAP, DataBricks, Satelite
Ability to create and maintain basic table structures
Solid understanding of data types and their appropriate use
Background of data analytics, data engineering (Python knowledge is nice to have)
Experience with agile delivery methodology
Good command of written and spoken English
Experience with tools such as OpenText ALM, Tricentis qTest, Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, ServiceNow
Initial experience in project, release and/or test management, ITIL processes
