My responsibilities:
- Operate and further develop the Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment in Azure, while ensuring high availability and stability
- Optimize the performance and cost efficiency of the Citrix and Windows systems
- Work closely with the external service provider responsible for incident management and problem management
- Package software for automated deployment within the virtual desktop environment
- Collaborate with the team to implement best practices and drive continuous improvements
- Work in an agile environment, applying agile methods to develop solutions efficiently
The knowledge I own:
- Several years of practical experience in administering Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops in large, international corporate environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Strong Power Shell automation skills
- Experience with Azure, especially in hosting and managing virtual desktop solutions
- Skills in software packaging to automate deployment
- Experience with Citrix NetScaler and FAS is a major advantage
- Experience with SAP software is highly desirable
- Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills
