In an unexpected disruption, speed, structure, and clarity are crucial. In this role, you help prepare our business for IT disaster management by ensuring that recovery documentation stays current, by coordinating security and crisis readiness activities, and by running regular disaster recovery exercises based on business criticality.
You work closely with product and service owners, security stakeholders, and governance teams to ensure that continuity is planned—not improvised.
My responsibilities:
- Lead IT continuity and disaster management activities across products and services—from onboarding and initial setup through ongoing maintenance and validation
- Maintain and ensure up-to-date recovery documentation, so that teams can reliably execute recovery measures when it matters
- Coordinate and drive advanced restore testing with a clear focus on learning, validation, and continuous improvement
- You support requirements gathering, validate whether recovery procedures work as intended, and ensure that orchestration planning for crisis scenarios is kept current
- Support product and service owners throughout the lifecycle of the Information Security Management System activities—especially during onboarding, regular updates, and verification
- Align recovery expectations with governance requirements, working with Business Continuity Management and security governance to define and document recovery priorities (e.g., acceptable downtime and data-loss tolerance) and integrate them into a holistic disaster management approach
- Ensure transparency and governance-friendly reporting by communicating compliance with standards, exercise outcomes, and gaps to the relevant stakeholders
- Identify and close IT gaps by investigating root causes from tests, exercises, or operational findings—and translating them into structured improvement measures
The knowledge I own:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to drive topics forward across different teams and responsibilities
- Very good analytical and strategic thinking, including the ability to identify gaps, structure plans, and prioritize action
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure in practice (e.g., networking components and server environments).
- In-depth familiarity with security policy and guideline content—especially how it translates into operational processes
- A persistent, solution-oriented mindset, particularly in challenging scenarios and when conflicts arise.
- The ability to see the big picture and reduce silos by connecting stakeholders, processes, and documentation
Nice to have
- General security knowledge and experience with security-related processes and controls
- Awareness of international IT security and resilience expectations, for example ISO/IEC 27001 and relevant regulatory requirements for critical services (such as requirements similar to KRITIS and NIS2)
How you work
You are proactive, structured, and comfortable taking ownership. You make disaster readiness tangible by turning documentation, standards, and exercises into measurable outcomes—and you ensure that learning from tests directly improves readiness across the organization.

- Growth opportunities in a constantly evolving organization
- Long-term career security with a stable employer
- Competitive salary and benefits
- Practical, tailored training
- Varied tasks in a supportive, modern working environment
- Flexible working arrangements, including home office options (hybrid)
