Expert - Import Compliance (f/m/d)
How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- As an Import Compliance Expert, you are responsible for all import and trade compliance matters within our international supply chain management team
- You will serve as a key connection between our supply chain team and the compliance teams across other business units, driving seamless and efficient collaboration
- You will be a key player in supporting our internal team on import compliance matters, while also building and maintaining strong relationships with international and cross-functional teams across the different ALDI Süd countries
- Leveraging your expertise, you will implement new compliance guidelines and ensure adherence to EU legislation, with a strong focus on import regulations
- Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in further developing our compliance management system
- Collecting and analysing data, as well as creating reports to monitor compliance regulations is part of your role
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- As an Import Compliance Expert, you have a university degree, preferably in Law, Law and Economics, or similar
- You already have several years of professional experience in the field of compliance, ideally with a focus on sustainability, trade, or reporting
- You are motivated to implement new compliance regulations and develop clear, practical guidelines to ensure adherence
- You possess business fluent English skills, German skills are considered an asset
- Your exceptional communication skills allow you to present complex information in a clear and engaging way, tailored to stakeholders across various countries, departments, and hierarchical levels
- Your reliable, solution-oriented, and independent working style sets you apart

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 59.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
