Expert - Sustainable Transport (f/m/d)

How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • Help shape the future supply chain network of the ALDI SOUTH Group in our International Supply Chain Management department with a focus on emission quantification 
  • Analyse the current supply chain with a focus on transport logistics and emission reduction  
  • Research and define technology requirements for transportation with a focus on sustainability and support with estimating related cost impacts for the development of financial business cases and projections
  • Develop roadmaps and support our country teams with the implementation of green logistics
  • Work in multi-national project teams to understand the business requirements of an international organisation
  • Work as part of our team to develop solutions to create sustainable future supply chains for the ALDI SOUTH Group

Candidate Profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You have completed studies in the field of logistics / supply chain management / sustainability management / business management 
  • As a Sustainable Transport expert, you have relevant experience with a focus on supply chain-related topics i.e. consulting, transportation, or operational excellence  
  • Knowledge regarding the transportation industry and transportation technology would be beneficial
  • You are proficient in MS Office tools (especially Excel) 
  • Business-fluent English skills 
  • Technical/Analytical thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit 
  • Reliable way of working with strong cooperation skills 
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10% of working time) 
  • Demonstrate willingness to adapt and learn, clear and concise communication skills, ability to present complex information in a simplified manner, need to be interested and able to stay up to date on general industry trends

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 52.700*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
