Expert - Warehouse Automation Solutions (f/m/d)
How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- Developing intralogistics solutions for the future of supply chain operations within the ALDI South Group
- Acting as an advisor on concept automated facility design while creating layout plans, material flow processes, automation systems and general building parameters of estimate CAPEX/OPEX
- To understand automation technology that finds a solution that suits the perspectives of the service providers, the operators and the project team
- Collaborating with stakeholders in operations, internal experts, and external service providers
- To create and evaluate intralogistics tender for automation solutions and support project teams to challenge technical solutions
- Developing business cases and the identification of interfaces, e.g. to technical building equipment or IT.
- To work in a multinational project and understand business needs.
- Identifying the data requirements and work with data from various sources in an efficient manner
- Coaching junior team member warehouse automation knowledge
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- As an expert you have several years of relevant professional experience in warehouse automation with service providers, manufacturers or users of intralogistics
- You have completed studies in the field of technical logistics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar fields with reference to material flow systems
- You posses very good knowledge of logistics planning and technical intralogistics (materials handling, automation, planning of systems and equipment in intralogistics)
- Experience with warehouse processes in retail is an advantage
- With your ability to think analytical and logical way you would demonstrate a strong affinity for numbers and data
- As an expert you work independently and in an organized way
- Having very good knowledge of English
- You have the willingness to travel

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 59.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
