How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

You’ll support in the planning, implementation and optimisation of international supply chain processes in the category of fresh fruit & vegetables
In this role you’ll work on our European Fresh Produce (fruits and vegetables) Import Hub project
You’ll play a major role in shaping the future supply chain for fruit and vegetables across all ALDI SÜD countries in Europe
This includes analysing current processes and data as well as harmonising and developing new ones
You’ll be responsible for establishing best-practice operational standards to streamline sourcing and logistics
You’ll cooperate with internal teams, international suppliers, service providers, logistics companies and country organisations

The requirements of the role include:

As a Produce Buying expert, you have completed a university degree, ideally in supply chain management, agricultural sciences or food technology
You have got experience in the field of purchasing or supply chain processes for imported fruit and vegetables
You are an expert in handling and processing fresh fruit and vegetables, such as ripening and quality assurance preferably within the retail sector
You possess strong English language skills
Reliable, structured and independent describe your way of working
Your proactive, can-do attitude as well as communication skills are your strong points
In addition, you are an analytical and solution-oriented thinker

Gross annual salary starting from € 60.900*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
