How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

Create operative processes for future warehouses and transport services
Define meaningful KPIs to steer and measure logistics service providers
Design logistics processes which you will manage after an implementation phase
Identify cost savings potential in the area of transportation (inbound and outbound) and warehousing
Leading and coordinating an international team
Close collaboration with international departments and country organisations of the ALDI SÜD Group as well as suppliers and logistics service providers

The requirements of the role include:

Completed university degree, ideally with a focus on logistics or supply chain management
Relevant professional experience managing logistics service providers (3PLs), preferably in retail sector
Experience in produce/fresh product operations in warehouse and transport
Several years of leadership experience
Can-do attitude who enjoys setting up a project from scratch
Reliable, structured, and result-oriented way of working in a dynamic work environment
Very good communication and negotiation skills with a high degree of assertiveness
Fluent Business English skills

Gross annual salary starting from € 102.000*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
