How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

Help shape the future supply chain network of the ALDI SOUTH Group in our International Supply Chain Management department with a focus on fleet electrification
Develop roadmaps and support our country teams with the implementation of alternative drive systems within owned and 3rd party fleets, with a particular focus on electric vehicles
Analyse the current supply chain and develop possible improvements with a focus on transport logistics and emission reduction
Research and define technology requirements for transportation with a focus on sustainability and estimate related cost impacts for the development of financial business cases and projections
Facilitate tendering and negotiation with external business partners
Work in multi-national project teams to understand the business requirements of an international organisation
Work as part of our team to develop solutions to create sustainable future supply chains for the ALDI SOUTH Group

The requirements of the role include:

You have completed studies in the field of logistics / supply chain management / sustainability management
As a Senior Electrification -Sustainability Transportation, you have relevant experience with a focus on supply chain-related topics i.e. consulting, transportation, or operational excellence
Well-founded knowledge regarding the transportation industry and transportation technology would be beneficial
You are proficient in MS Office tools (especially Excel)
Business-fluent English skills
Technical/Analytical thinking and an entrepreneurial spirit
Reliable way of working with strong cooperation skills
Willingness to travel internationally (up to 10% of working time)
Demonstrate willingness to adapt and learn, clear and concise communication skills, ability to present complex information in a simplified manner, need to be interested and able to stay up to date on general industry trends

Gross annual salary starting from € 74.500*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
