How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

Be an integral part of our European Fresh Produce (fruits and vegetables) Import Hub project
You'll shape the future supply chain for fruit and vegetables across all ALDI SÜD countries in Europe
Develop and harmonize processes for an efficient fruit and vegetable supply chain
Analyze current processes and data to define optimal supply chain strategies
Establish best-practice operational standards to streamline sourcing and logistics
Drive continuous improvement of operational processes for fresh fruit and vegetables
Collaborate closely with an international team, suppliers, logistics providers, and country organizations

The requirements of the role include:

A completed university degree, ideally in supply chain management, agricultural sciences or food technology
Hands-on experience in supply chain or purchasing processes for imported fruit and vegetables
Expertise in handling and processing fresh fruit and vegetables, such as ripening preferably within the retail sector
Strong analytical skills to evaluate and interpret complex data
A proactive, can-do attitude, thriving in dynamic and evolving environments
A structured, reliable, and results-driven approach to work
Fluency in business English; additional European languages are a plus

Gross annual salary starting from € 59.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
