In this position, you’ll...

  • Helping shape the future supply chain network of the ALDI SOUTH Group in our international Supply Chain Management department with a focus on emission quantification
  • Developing methods to monitor transport-related emissions for the entire ALDI supply chain  
  • Researching and analysing potential for reducing emissions and identifying suitable technologies and operational measures for implementation
  • Analysing the current supply chain and developing possible improvements with a focus on transport logistics
  • Conducting analyses with the target to optimally consider transport logistics in warehouse planning projects
  • Optimising the future store delivery process using data-supported models, taking into account developments within the market including technology

Candidate Profile

The requirements for the role are…

  • Completed studies with a focus on logistics or sustainability management
  • Several years of relevant experience in the area of transport logistics and/or emissions quantification and reduction
  • Experience in working with MS Excel (formulas, pivot, data visualization)
  • Very good English skills (working language is English)
  • Reliable, solution-oriented and independent way of working
  • Committed and numerically data oriented as well as pronounced communication and team skills
  • Analytical thinking
  • International willingness to travel

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 55,800.- *
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
