How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

Being part of a complex multi-department modelling process determining future supply chains
Developing data packs, defining requirements for warehouse automation projects
Creating concepts, material flows, and estimating CAPEX/OPEX of intralogistics solutions
Developing future intralogistics solutions within the ALDI SÜD Group as part of a team
Collaborating with operations experts, internal experts, consultants and technology providers
Evaluating tender documents for automation solutions and advising technically in a team
Horizon scanning to identify and evaluate emerging technologies, processes, and ideas

The requirements of the role include:

Successfully completed studies in technical logistics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field with a focus on material flow systems
Passion for logistics planning and technical intralogistics (automation, and system planning)
Exhibition of an analytical and logical mindset with a strong interest in numbers and data
Ability to work unsupervised and in an organized manner to develop effective solutions
Fluent English language skills
Willingness to travel occasionally
