Buying Transformation & Project Manager (f/m/d)

How You´ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • Working within the newly established Global Business Services (GBS) team, as part of the Buying team, you drive the further development of the GBS organisation to create significant value for ALDI globally
  • As a Buying Transformation & Project Manager you will independently plan, coordinate and implement global projects 
  • You will lead and develop a team from the initial roll out to steady-state operations, driving innovation and efficiency throughout the entire service life cycle
  • The overarching support of external service vendors to successfully execute transformation projects is one of your main responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for establishing a service delivery monitoring from vendors, ensuring compliance with established quality assurance standards, and reviewing performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • You will act as first point of contact for stakeholders and top management, mitigating risks, addressing issues, and implementing strategies related to Buying service delivery, ensuring smooth operations
  • Beyond that you will coordinate and monitor related business cases, benefit tracking, analysing the financial implications for the organisation
     

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • As a Buying Transformation & Project Manager you have completed studies in the field of business administration, economics or similar
  • You already possess 3+ years of work experience in buying, procurement or project management, ideally in an international environment
  • Initial leadership experience and proven track record in transformation projects is considered an advantage
  • You have a profound understanding of project and risk management, end-to-end understanding of buying process is a plus
  • You possess advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills 
  • You are business-fluent in English, proficiency in German is a plus
  • You are experienced in managing external vendors and monitoring service delivery and performance against SLAs and KPIs on a contractual level is a plus
  • You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a complex and multinational stakeholder structure  
  • You are willing to travel internationally

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 104.300,-*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
