How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • As a Circular Packaging Specialist , you will play a critical role in advancing ALDI SOUTH Group’s global sustainability initiatives through the development of cutting-edge packaging strategies
  • Research and develop efforts to identify and recommend sustainable packaging solutions are part of your tasks, particular in the area of recyclable packaging design 
  • You will identify strategic opportunities for how we can meet our 2025 packaging goals
  • You will contribute to the development of a long-term packaging strategy beyond 2025 that considers regulatory compliance and technical developments 
  • Stay current with evolving global packaging regulations and trends as part of your role
  • You will closely collaborate with international and national business entities to streamline and enhance the successful integration of packaging strategies
  • A close collaboration with external partners to advance ALDI’s packaging strategy is one of your tasks

Your Profile

The requirments oft he role include: 

  • As a Circular Packaging Specialist you have a degree in a relevant field such as packaging engineering / sustainability, the circular economy, corporate responsibility, environmental management, or similar discipline
  • You have work experience in packaging sustainability and the circular economy 
  • You are familiar with sustainability initiatives and trends, ideally with a focus on packaging
  • You are flexible to adapt to changing market conditions and emerging sustainability trends
  • You have excellent communication, project management and teamwork skills
  • Your English skills are business-fluent 
  • You enjoy international cooperation

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 52.700*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
