How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

As a Circular Packaging Specialist , you will play a critical role in advancing ALDI SOUTH Group’s global sustainability initiatives through the development of cutting-edge packaging strategies
Research and develop efforts to identify and recommend sustainable packaging solutions are part of your tasks, particular in the area of recyclable packaging design
You will identify strategic opportunities for how we can meet our 2025 packaging goals
You will contribute to the development of a long-term packaging strategy beyond 2025 that considers regulatory compliance and technical developments
Stay current with evolving global packaging regulations and trends as part of your role
You will closely collaborate with international and national business entities to streamline and enhance the successful integration of packaging strategies
A close collaboration with external partners to advance ALDI’s packaging strategy is one of your tasks

The requirments oft he role include:

As a Circular Packaging Specialist you have a degree in a relevant field such as packaging engineering / sustainability, the circular economy, corporate responsibility, environmental management, or similar discipline
You have work experience in packaging sustainability and the circular economy
You are familiar with sustainability initiatives and trends, ideally with a focus on packaging
You are flexible to adapt to changing market conditions and emerging sustainability trends
You have excellent communication, project management and teamwork skills
Your English skills are business-fluent
You enjoy international cooperation

Gross annual salary starting from € 52.700*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
