Climate Manager (f/m/d)
How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- As a Sustainability Manager – Climate, Scope 3 in the international sustainability sector, you will work in an international and interdisciplinary project team
- You will manage initiatives to support the company’s efforts to achieve Net Zero
- Oversee a team dedicated to partnering with our suppliers to decarbonize our supply chains
- Partner closely with Buying to drive climate action with strategic suppliers with a high focus on dairy and beef
- Support the ALDI SUD Group in the launch of new technology solutions to support enhanced reporting for Scope 3
- Support climate related compliance readiness, working closely with internal stakeholders to assess climate-related risks and opportunities and integration into our business planning and enterprise risk management processes
- Coordinate with relevant international and national business units (Buying, Supply Chain Management, IT, etc.) to make progress towards 2030 and 2050 targets
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- As a Sustainability Manager – Climate in the international sustainability sector, you have a degree in economics or sustainability studies
- You have several years of experience and sound knowledge in the areas of retail, climate strategy, value chain project management or consulting
- Strong understanding of regenerative agriculture and supplier engagement are part of your core competencies
- You have first experience in leading a team as well as several years of relevant professional experience in riving climate action
- Your English skills are very good
- You are willing to travel abroad

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 104.300,-*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
