Controlling Manager - IT (f/m/d)

How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are 

  • You will be responsible for setting up, developing and leading a team of Functional Controllers working side-by-side with the IT, Data & Analytics and Customer Interaction functions acting as essential Business Partners to drive effective performance management in those global functions
  • You will drive the definition of the Target Operating Model for Functional Controlling incl. setting up governance standards, processes and ways of working
  • You will ensure seamless, accurate and on-time planning, monitoring and reporting of the above listed functions as well as enabling your team to support smart decision making by delivering in-depth financial analysis
  • Together with your team you will ensure systematic transparency about the performance and ensure that steering mechanisms / KPIs for each of the above listed functions are in place and linked to the overall company steering relevant KPIs
  • Performing these tasks requires ensuring the availability of a single source of truth and enabling the team to challenge the delivered data as a sparring partner to identify actionable performance improvement potential in the above listed functions
  • You will represent the finance organisation, act as an interface and will be responsible for cross-functional stakeholder alignments with international stakeholders
  • You will advise senior management and above listed global functions on making decisions by providing concise and coherent insights narrated by a compelling storyline

Your profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You have completed a degree in business administration, economics or finance
  • You possess several years of experience working in Controlling or functional leadership roles of an international corporate organization or in management consultancy with experience in performance management 
  • Your work experience in the area of international retail / FMCG is a valuable asset
  • You’re business-fluent in English
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion to identifying the drivers behind numbers and combining quantitative data with qualitative information belong to your core competencies
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels are a matter of course to you
  • You have a desire to work in dynamic environments and enjoy collaborating with international stakeholders

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 104.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
