Country Performance Analyst (f/m/d)

How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are

  • You’ll collaborate closely with the assigned country as a strategic Business Partner, to ensure comprehensive data analysis that translates into actionable insights, ultimately enhancing performance and aligning with the Group’s strategic goals
  • You'll proactively engage in business performance reviews with country leadership by presenting key findings, discussing implications and collaboratively developing strategies for improvement. This proactive engagement fosters alignment on performance initiatives and drives accountability
  • You’ll source and rigorously analyse market trends and competitor activities to develop a deeper understanding of market dynamics. This includes identifying emerging trends, assessing opportunities for growth and improvement and discovering potential threats that could impact the country’s performance 
  • You are expected to manage timely and accurate reporting processes, while overseeing ongoing monitoring and planning efforts for the country’s performance metric  
  • As part of your role, you will analyse and review operational KPIs to provide transparency about the country’s performance, linking these to the Group’s steering relevant KPIs. Challenge data and act as a sparring partner to uncover improvement opportunities
  • You are responsible for providing ad-hoc analyses and assess local investment initiatives to determine their potential impact and feasibility
  • As a relationship management expert, you will  serve as the primary contact for the national finance organisation and act as an interface between the country and wider Group Controlling, fostering effective communication and collaboration
  • You’ll untimately support senior management in making informed decisions by translating complex data and reports into clear narratives, presenting them in engaging formats

Your profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You possess some years of working experience in Finance / Controlling / Accounting in an international corporate organisation
  • You have completed a degree in business administration, economics or finance
  • Your work experience in the (grocery) retail industry is a plus
  • You bring specialised qualifications or working experience in SAP FI / CO, SAP BW
  • BI capabilities and feeling comfortable with the usage of dashboards, queries etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with a passion to identifying the drivers behind numbers and combining quantitative data with qualitative information belong to your core competencies
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels are a matter of course to you
  • You have a desire to work in dynamic environments and enjoy collaborating with international stakeholders
  • You’re business-fluent in English

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 60.900* 
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
