Data Compliance Manager (f/m/d)

How You’ll make your mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and enhancement of the group's data compliance management systems, group-wide governance, rules, processes, tools and enquiries in the area of data protection, non-personal data and AI compliance
  • Your tasks will include monitoring and interpreting current legislation, enforcement and case law trends and guiding the entire group with its markets and business units
  • You will be responsible for guiding data protection officers and coordinators 
  • In addition, you will work in a matrix with colleagues from different markets and senior stakeholders to ensure centralised control over the implementation of data protection requirements
  • You will be part of a global compliance and risk organisation
  • You will lead the data protection team by yourself

Your profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in law, business, data, information technology, or a related field
  • As a compliance expert you have at least 5 years of experience in a data compliance role 
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in leading a team
  • You have got in-depth knowledge of compliance standards and regulations, in particular EU laws such as the GDPR and market regulations such as ISO standards  
  • You have leadership, global and matrix experience 
  • You are business fluent in English
  • An analytical way of thinking and the ability to work on complex issues independently is a matter of course for you
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration abilities set you apart

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 104.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
