How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • In your role as a Director, you will develop and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and growth plans towards targets set
  • This involves partnering with senior leadership and business stakeholders to forecast hiring needs and build strategic workforce plans
  • As the responsible Director for Executive Search, you will also decide on partner agencies and act as a strategic point of contact to drive global Executive recruiting excellence (Director and above roles)
  • You will collaborate with the international customer interaction team to align global employer brand with our consumer brand and deliver best talent when and as needed
  • In addition, you’ll drive strategic initiatives and deliver programmes for the International HR Committee (IHRC) together with the countries and leaders, ensuring sustainable business impact
  • You are responsible for leading, managing and developing a team of Employer Branding, Recruitment and Talent Management Experts aligned with ALDI value
  • You are responsible for the Succession Planning processes, identifying talent gaps and building a strategic pipeline for senior key roles in the business

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include: 

  • You have completed studies in the field of HR or a related field, other further certificates and training programmes would be an advantage
  • You have great experience (preferably 10+ years) in recruiting and talent acquisition in an international environment
  • You bring strong expertise in coordinating hiring strategies and developing long-term talent acquisition strategies across multiple countries
  • You have demonstrated leadership experience managing high-performing teams and complex projects
  • Excellent stakeholder & executive management skills belong to your core competences
  • Proven knowledge in change management and transformation sets you apart
  • You’re business-fluent in English
