Intern - Circular Economy & (Food) Waste (f/m/d)

How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are: 

  • Support the Circular Packaging & Waste team in ongoing sustainability initiatives and reporting processes
  • Help prepare internal communication materials (e.g., factsheets, summaries, position papers, presentations) on key sustainability topics
  • Support the monitoring and analysis of packaging and food waste reduction measures across all ALDI countries
  • Conducting research on diverse food waste and circular economy (packaging & products) topics
  • Assist in the coordination and documentation of internal meetings and working groups
  • Assisting in various project tasks and gain knowledge about sustainability
  • Workin with cross-functional teams on tasks is part of your responsibilities

 

Candidate Profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You are in ongoing studies with a focus on sustainability, circular economy, social sciences
  • Initial work experience related to sustainability is desirable
  • Reliable, structured and independent way of working describes you
  • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) is one of your professional core competencies
  • You are confident in your communication and teamwork skills, and you enjoy international cooperation
  • You have strong organisational and research skills
  • You are detail-oriented with an professional attitude
  • You possess very good English skills

Remuneration

Attractive gross annual salary starting from € 32.100*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
