How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • You'll play a critical role in supporting ALDI SOUTH Group’s sustainability development of cutting-edge packaging strategies
  • You'll guide teams to identify and recommend sustainable packaging solutions 
  • Co-ordinating strategies for how we can meet our packaging goals 
  • Contribute to the development of a long-term packaging strategy beyond 2025 that considers regulatory compliance 
  • You'll stay current with evolving global packaging regulations and trends 
  • You'll collaborate with international and national business entities to streamline and enhance the successful integration of packaging strategies 
  • Close collaboration with external partners to advance ALDI’s packaging strategy 

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include: 

  • You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as the circular economy, corporate responsibility, environmental management, or similar discipline 
  • Work experience in packaging strategy and sustainability, with a focus on circular economy principles and packaging regulation is preferred 
  • Familiarity with international sustainability initiatives and trends
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and emerging sustainability trends
  • Excellent communications skills and project management skills
  • You have business-fluent English skills
  • You enjoy international cooperation and co-ordination 
  • You have excellent communication and teamwork skills

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 54.300,-* 
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
