International Sustainability Expert (f/m/d)
How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- You’ll lead our Global Social Monitoring Program by working closely with the implementation teams (international, national and CR Units Asia) as well as IT and data & analytics teams
- You’ll support the roll-out of our supplier evaluation program and IT solutions in close collaboration with cross-functional teams
- As sustainability specialist, you’ll support the implementation of our Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence Framework and contribute to the strategic development of our tools and processes
- You’ll monitor our severe risk process to ensure its effective implementation and compliance with national and international legislations
- You’ll work across different teams and departments to ensure sustainability requirements are reflected in various projects and in newly developed supply chain and risk assessment tools
- Conducting research about industry practices, benchmarking and competitor analysis
- Providing trainings to ALDI teams on your topics
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- University degree in social and environmental sciences, sustainability studies, human rights or other related fields
- You’ve got 3-5 years of relevant work experience in sustainability and supply chain management
- You have a good understanding of salient risks along supply chains with focus on social and environmental aspects
- You possess experience in project coordination and working in cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, data management and project management skills are amongst your core competencies
- You have good communication skills and enjoy working with diverse stakeholders
- Fluent English is essential

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 54.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
