International Sustainability Specialist (f/m/d)
How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- You'll support the implementation of our Corporate Responsibility Supplier Evaluation Program across international markets
- As Sustainability Specialist you'll contribute to the implementation of responsible purchasing practices in the relevant supply chain with suppliers to gather sustainability performance data, track compliance requirements and ensure suppliers compliance with human rights and environmental standards in the global non-food supply chain
- This includes collaborating with buying teams to integrate sustainability criteria into purchasing decisions, including providing expertise and support to buying teams on sustainability & compliance matters
- Working closely with cross functional and country CR teams to align sustainability initiatives is part of your responsibilities
- In your role you'll support projects related to EU and international legislative compliance and circular economy initiatives in non-food supply chain
- Another tasks is maintaining accurate data management systems for supplier sustainability metrics
- You'll assist in stakeholder engagement activities with industry groups, NGOs, and certification bodies
- Representing the sustainability team in internal and external events completes your tasks
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- You possess a degree in Sustainability, Human Rights, Law, Sustainable Development, or a related field
- Furthermore you've got 3-5 years' experience in sustainability and supplier relationship management
- Knowledge of responsible purchasing practices and compliance with human rights and environmental standards appeals to you
- You have a good understanding of non-food supply chain and sourcing country-specific labor compliance issues & practices
- Understanding and hands on experience with the circular economy concepts is an advantage
- You possess experience in project coordination and working in cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and data management skills are amongst your core competencies
- You've got good communication skills and enjoy working with diverse stakeholders
- Fluent English is essential, additional languages are advantageous
- Willingness to travel internationally as required

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 54.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
