How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • As Legal Expert you will be responsible for managing our legal horizon scanning processes
  • You are responsible for monitoring legislative activity, particularly on EU level, reviewing new legislation and conducting in-scope-assessments
  • In coordination with (non-legal) business units you ensure that new legislation will be considered and support them with in-depth-assessments
  • You steer the information gathering to enable legal horizon scanning
  • This involves development and implementation of improvements on scope, processes and cooperation regarding the legal horizon scanning
  • In addition, you actively take over general legal tasks (e.g. contract reviews) and support our business units with your expertise as required

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You have a degree in law studies from a university within EU OR a degree in law studies from a university outside EU with proven knowledge of EU law
  • You have two years of relevant professional experience (with exposure to EU law)
  • A bar exam from an EU country is an advantage
  • You are prone to incorporating IT solutions to manage your tasks
  • Working in a dynamic work environment appeals to you
  • You are fluent in English (native speaker level) OR fluent in German with excellent English skills
  • You communicate confidently with people of diverse professional and personal backgrounds
  • Translating legal complexity into language non-legal colleagues understand is one of your strong points
  • You are solution-oriented and like to work in a highly organised manner

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 54.300* 
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
