Manager Risk & Insurance (f/m/d)

How You’ll make your mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and enhancement of the Group's risk management systems, group-wide governance, strategy, principles and programmes in alignment with the Group’s business goals, strategies, models and risks
  • Your tasks will include to effectively identify, assess, aggregate, monitor, report and mitigate risks or facilitate informed decision-making
  • You will utilize state-of-the-art risk management knowledge and adhere to recognized industry standards as well as implement effective methods and IT applications 
  • Your responsibilities include to continuously identify and analyse evolving regulations and industry risk trends that may impact the Company Group. You will also monitor relevant risks and market developments as well as assess current and potential exposures
  • You will oversee, lead and coordinate the risk management system across all markets with both qualitative and quantitative rigor
  • You will assess gross-net risks, calculate risk appetite, conduct scenario planning, stress testing and validate effectiveness
  • In addition, you will support and validate the effectiveness of the internal control system and operational measures, ensuring a strong, resilient risk management logic
  • The insurance management system is part of your global responsibility 
  • You will be part of the Group compliance and risk organisation
  • Your responsibilities include managing a team of several people  

Your profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You have a Master's degree in risk management, mathematics, business, information technology, or a related field
  • As a risk management leader and expert, you have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role including the leadership of people
  • You have got in-depth knowledge of risk management standards and methods
  • You have global and matrix experience as leader in bigger companies or expert organizations for risk management
  • You are business fluent in English
  • An analytical way of thinking and the ability to work on complex issues independently is a matter of course for you
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration abilities set you apart

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 104.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
