Senior Manager Global Communication (f/m/d)

How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • You will act as communications business partner across a range of global key strategic change initiatives  
  • You will create effective communication in global change initiatives to clarify the purpose and direction of our business, aligning the efforts of our people towards this goal
  • Developing the global communication team and optimising their processes and structures adding the benefit of consistency in key global messages, tone of voice, communication timings and channels (where appropriate) to the business 
  • You will develop, review, agree change communications strategies with stakeholders and deliver global communications in conjunction with national comms departments
  • You will liaise with National Comms departments and Business Units to build strong working relationships and support any initiatives that require global communication 
  • Understanding the business challenges and opportunities of each change, and translating this into impactful communications and engagement solutions belongs to your responsibilities 
  • You service as the local comms function for the ALDI SÜD HOLDING 
  • You will be the primary point of contact for external media enquiries addressed to the ALDI SÜD HOLDING as well as international media and NGO requests 
  • As a Senior Manager Global Communication, you lead international crisis communications 

Your profile

The requirements of this role include:

  • You hold a university degree, preferably in the field of communication science, public relations, journalism or similar
  • As a Senior Manager Global Communication you have 5+ years’ experience in change and / or internal communications roles (in-house or agency)
  • You have proven success in developing and executing change communications strategies, campaign and engagement plans
  • Evidence of understanding and successful application of change management and / or communication theory is crucial to this role 
  • You have excellent writing and editing skills and are fluent in English
  • Being resilient and able to deal with ambiguity is one of your professional core competencies
  • You have strong people skills and previous experience in leading and developing a team

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 119.600*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
