How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- At ALDI SÜD's International Customer Interaction unit, you design seamless and engaging customer experiences across digital, in-store, and service touchpoints while driving global efficiency and cost savings
- As a Specialist for Marketing Measurement, you will roll out a bespoke marketing effectiveness framework for all countries
- You’ll lead change management and provide ongoing support as the countries apply the framework and improve their marketing measurement
- You’ll support the ongoing adoption of a global MMM solution in each country
- In addition, you’ll be helping countries interpret results and implement recommendations and ultimately prove the value of the program back to the business
- You’ll support the improvement of brand tracking solutions in the countries and ensure the findings and trends feed into marketing plans
- You’ll work with countries to move towards long-term effectiveness measurement as brand tracking data becomes more robust
- In your role you’ll create and monitor an overall marketing test and learn program to establish the effectiveness of changes made to marketing and media plans
- You’ll identify further opportunities to improve marketing measurement and work with countries to find solutions to cover their measurement gaps, e.g., campaign tracking
- You have knowledge of how to assess the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives and implement actionable recommendations for future improvements
- You’ll work with all diverse ALDI markets to drive increased media effectiveness and performance in all offline and online channels, helping to identify the right solutions for each country according to its market maturity
- In addition, you will work closely with the global ALDI community and multiple other stakeholders
- You’ll collaborate with local teams and other global departments to drive success, help solve ALDI’s media challenges and champion media and marketing to the wider business
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- You have experience working in a marketing client-side or media agency role
- You have experience of working in marketing measurement and effectiveness.
- You have an understanding of MMM programmes and the full range of solutions available, with their relative pros and cons
- You have a good understanding of marketing principles, including advertising, promotion, pricing, sales data, media planning and buying
- You have experience of developing and implementing ways of working and improved processes
- You have working knowledge of media and marketing, ideally across all offline and online channels
- You have experience in a global role or of working with multiple markets, such as the UK, US, Germany, Austria and Italy
- You have a fantastic eye for detail, strong analytical skills
- You have a proactive, inquisitive and personable nature
- You have the ability to communicate to high level stakeholders and package up complex information in an understandable way
