How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • As a Sr. Consultant of Group Mergers & Acquisitions, you will research and prepare strategic, financial and technical assessments as part of ongoing M&A target assessments and work on end-to-end M&A execution as well as a range of strategic / business development topics
  • To lead end-to-end execution of M&A deals globally 
  • Performing strategic analysis & market research of industries and markets
  • Taking responsibility for the extraction, transformation and consolidation of financial and non-financial data from different data sources
  • Coordinating junior team members and ensure timely delivery of agreed outputs
  • Contributing to the preparation of business plans including strategic/operational synergies assessment
  • Preparing company valuations applying different valuation techniques (such as multiples valuation, DCF and others).
  • Develop internal strategy & decision-making documents to guide internal decision-making on a number of strategic topics (business performance assessment, target suitability assessment, strategic reviews, investment analysis, etc.)
  • To play an integral co-coordinative and execution role in due diligence process (as part of M&A transactions) across all relevant functions / geographies 
  • Preparing well-elaborated and highly-refined investment thesis and strategy papers for senior stakeholders (Executive Board members, Investment Committees, etc.)
  • Managing both internal and external stakeholders (e.g. investment banks, strategy consultants, etc.) along the M&A proces

Your Profile

The requirments of the role include: 

  • Your communication style and approach to relationships is collaborative and open, and you enjoy working as part of an international team.
  • Your working style is independent and solutions-orientated, with a strong bias towards producing accurate, credible results. 
  • You have completed university education, preferably in business administration, finance, engineering or similar.
  • You have between 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Business Development, M&A, Corporate Finance or similar fields. Years of experience are indicative, relevant work experience will be further evaluated during the interviews 
  • You have excellent English language skills (written and verbal)
  • Advanced Excel skills with ability to prepare detailed financial models and business plans.

Gross annual salary starting from € 74.500*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
