Tax Expert (f/m/d)
How You'll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- You provide practical, solution-oriented advice on day-to-day tax matters, with a clear understanding of process flows and system logic
- You prepare written tax opinions and memos on specific issues
- You support the ongoing development and standardisation of tax-relevant processes in the ERP system, particularly by implementing automated control mechanisms
- You contribute to the preparation and automation of VAT returns and EC Sales Listings
- You help design and deliver internal training sessions and work on drafting tax guidelines in an international context
- You support tax audits and appeal procedures, especially by providing system-based data, conducting mass data analyses, and documenting process evidence
- You collaborate closely with internal departments such as Finance, Accounting, IT, Legal, and Supply Chain, as well as with international group entities – often as part of global initiatives focused on harmonising and digitising the tax function
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- You hold a degree in law or business, ideally with a specialisation in taxation or digitalisation, or have completed training as a certified accountant with a tax qualification
- You bring hands-on experience in taxation, ideally at the interface of ERP systems or IT-driven projects
- You are familiar with SAP S/4HANA (especially tax determination, tax codes, and posting logic) and have initial exposure to tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or e-reporting platforms
- You are highly motivated by topics such as digitalisation, automation, and tax process optimisation – “Tax Technology” is more than a buzzword for you
- You think analytically, work in a structured and process-oriented way, and take ownership of your responsibilities
- You are fluent in both German and English and can contribute effectively in international project teams and technical workshops
- You are excited about shaping the future of the tax function – with a clear focus on efficiency, data quality, and the smart use of technology

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 54.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
