How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- You contribute to major Group Treasury projects by participating in the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of treasury solutions in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Your primary focus is on the planning, implementation, and optimization in the field of Money Management, covering card, wallet, and cash payments
- You are responsible for implementation activities, including preparation for and follow-up on contract negotiations, obtaining pricing, reviewing offers, and conducting proactive research in the areas of cash collection, card acquiring, and corporate guarantees
- You assist in bank relationship management by coordinating with banking partners to optimize service levels, negotiate terms, and support international Treasury operations across multiple regions
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- You have proven professional experience in a payment-related field or the financial industry
- You hold at least a degree-level qualification in a relevant field such as Economics, Business, or Financial Services
- Ideally, you have experience working in Corporate Treasury and consumer payments, particularly within retail and/or international companies
- You are enthusiastic about consulting and negotiating with international suppliers, service providers, and all ALDI SOUTH countries worldwide
- You are proficient in MS Office; additional experience with Treasury applications (e.g., TMS, market data provider terminals) and SAP is a plus
- Your English language skills are excellent; additional German language skills would be advantageous
- You have an independent, conscientious, flexible, and organized way of working
- You enjoy working in a collaborative environment and utilize your strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- You have the ability to present and lead key concepts to different stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives
