Buying Manager - Global Sourcing (f/m/d)

How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • As a Buying Manager - Global Sourcing, you support different commodity groups (food/near food products) based on the needs of the business
  • You are responsible for performing strategic negotiations to achieve highest quality products at the most competitive price  
  • This requires you to develop buying strategies and co-designing processes and reporting
  • You establish product know-how and identify optimization potential when buying one range for various country requirements
  • In addition, you develop and manage national and international supplier relationships
  • Carrying out cost price and competition analyses is also part of your tasks

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • As a Buying Manager, you have completed a university degree/studies or equivalent education 
  • You possess well-founded buying and negotiation experience, preferably in an international environment, dealing with food/near food commodities
  • You are experienced in handling the PC (especially MS Office), SAP knowledge is beneficial 
  • You enjoy leading and motivating employees 
  • Business-fluent English skills are essential to the role 
  • You bring strong communication and negotiation skills and high degree of assertiveness and flexibility with you 
  • You possess a responsible, structured and result-oriented way of working 
  • Your willingness to travel internationally is essential

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 102,000*

*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
