How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- As a Buying Specialist - Brand Products you independently fulfill operational tasks on the biggest brands worldwide such as Coca Cola, Ferrero, Henkel, Nestle
- You support in buying and negotiation activities and track negotiation success and report on outcome
- You take part in negotiations with suppliers reading the room, analyzing reactions and share observations with the buyer
- You support the outcome of negotiations through effective supplier conditioning
- You collect proposals, analyse assortments and associated costs & profitability and provide recommendations on negotiation strategies
- You become an expert within your area of responsibility and a reliable source for market dynamics and market development within Aldi’s international scope
- To build and maintain an international network by acting as main contact to countries and suppliers for alignment and problem solving is crucial in this role
- Additionally, you support international projects and change management processes
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- Great commercial understanding and strong read on numbers to identify business opportunities
- You currently work as (Junior) Buyer in a European Retailer or as a (Junior) Key Account Manager for an international brand supplier.
- You possess very good English skills
- Reliable, structured and independent describe your way of working
- Analytical and solution-oriented thinking are your strengths
- Beyond that you have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- You had first negotitation experiences in a business context or supported in negotiation preaparation.

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 54.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
