Buying Specialist - Brands (f/m/d)

How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • As a Buying Specialist - Brand Products you independently fulfill operational tasks on the biggest brands worldwide such as Coca Cola, Ferrero, Henkel, Nestle
  • You support in buying and negotiation activities and track negotiation success and report on outcome
  • You collate proposals from suppliers and analyze the impact of cost proposals from suppliers
  • Analysing the existing assortment and costs and providing recommendations on negotiation strategies is part of your responsibilities 
  • Beyond that you support in defining best-time to buy, driving initiatives, and managing the timeline to ensure timely buying decisions and delivery
  • You become an expert within your area of responsibility and a reliable source for market dynamics and market development within Aldi’s international scope
  • To build and maintain an international network by acting as main contact to countries and suppliers for alignment and problem solving is crucial in this role
  • Additionally, you support international projects and change management processes
     

Your Profile

The requirements for the role include: 

  • As a Buying Specialist - Brand Products you have completed business-oriented studies or commercial apprenticeship
  • You already have initial professional experience in the field of purchasing or in a comparable field
  • You are experienced in working with MS Office (especially MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook)
  • SAP Ariba or SAP HANA knowledge is considered an advantage
  • You possess very good English skills
  • Reliable, structured and independent describe your way of working
  • Analytical and solution-oriented thinking are your strengths 
  • Beyond that you have excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Negotiation experience is a plus in this role

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 52.700*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
