How You'll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- As a Consumer Market Insights Analyst you build and maintain a strong partnership within the branded buying teams to develop projects and perform market analysis
- You analyse external (Household Panel, Retail Panel) and internal data to support the buying teams in the negotiation and decision-making
- Through your strong and intensive networking with internal and external stakeholders, you achieve a high level of engagement in order to drive strategic goals
- You are closely collaborating with all internal teams (esp. Brand Procurement Managers, Value Chain Optimization and Buying Operations Model) to pass on any growth opportunities and plan target-oriented supplier activities.
- You are continuously expanding your knowledge of business issues, markets and project management in order to further strategic goals
- You gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry’s needs, take on problems and define solutions with your stakeholders
- You conduct strategic workshops and projects based on the business needs and goals of your stakeholders to generate added value and opportunities for identified business issues
- Furthermore, you support in the training and development of the buying teams in terms of negotiation preparation and understanding international market trends
Your Profile
The requirements for the role include:
- As a Consumer Market Insights Analyst you have completed university studies
- You possess several years of relevant professional experience within FMCG market research or in a line function in marketing, sales or consulting
- Well-founded experience with Household Panel Analytics and Retail Panel Analytics is crucial in this role
- Joint Business Planning or Year-End Negotiation experience is considered a bonus
- You are experienced in planning and leading projects within a professional environment
- You are able to independently create sophisticated, complex and meaningful analyses of data and their interpretation and content-related discussion
- Your strong Excel skills will benefit you in creating and adapting reports to be shared with stakeholders
- You possess fluent business English skills; German is an advantage
- Empathy, customer orientation and diplomacy are your strengths
- Additionally you have strong communication and presentation skills

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 52,700*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
