Tasks that await me

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • As an Expert SCM you are extensively involved in monitoring the supply performance and enhancing a supplier relationship management (SRM) across ALDI’s international supply 
    chain
  • You check and analyse how food or non-food suppliers perform based on defined KPIs and initiate optimisations
  • You act as a bridge between supply chain management and IT by validating process implementations from both economic and IT perspectives, translating business needs into effective data management and reporting Solutions 
  • Enhancing our reporting environment by introducing advanced analytics and supporting the integration of business intelligence systems for actionable insights also forms part of your core responsibilities
  • You proactively identify and address training needs for new reporting tools, create materials and run training sessions to enhance our teams’ capabilities
  • Additionally, you manage general administrative and project tasks, ensuring effective execution and stakeholder engagement

My qualifications

The requirements of the role include:

  • You have a university degree in Economy, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field
  • You bring several years of professional experience in supply chain management, supplier relationship management, or purchasing, ideally with a strong IT/data focus
  • You are passionate about IT, data analysis, and process automation, and enjoy optimising and digitising business workflows
  • You are confident working with big data environments and business intelligence/reporting tools (such as SAP BW, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are among your core competencies, and you can simplify and communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders
  • You feel comfortable understanding and training others in new reporting technologies, helping to increase adoption and efficiency
  • Your business-fluent English skills andexcellent communication skills support your work
  • A reliable, solution-oriented, and independent working style is natural for you
