How You’ll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- As a specialist you’ll support in the analysis, planning, implementation, and optimisation of international procurement strategies and processes
- You’ll be responsible for handling tasks including in-depth research, tender preparation and analysis, as well as follow-up of contract negotiations
- Conducting research and analysing data pro-actively and independently are topics which you highly enjoy
- You are excited by the task of collaborating with international suppliers and all ALDI SOUTH countries worldwide
- As part of your role, you’ll maintain and control records according to deadlines and ensure that information in all systems is updated and accurate at all times
- You’ll be the contact person for developing existing and building new supplier relationships
- In addition, you’ll investigate and document existing business processes and propose overarching strategies
- You are involved in the development of environmental and sustainability initiatives and document the process
- Drafting and editing reports, contracts, and presentation documents complete your field of responsibility
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- Several years of professional experience in the procurement and/or contract management of Facility Management related services
- Technical and commercial knowledge of building/property management related services (e.g., cleaning, landscaping, and various maintenance services)
- A highly technical understanding of Facility Management and experience with Facility Management software (e.g., Service Channel) is advantageous
- Preferably completed a university degree with relevant reference to facility management and/or relevant practical working expertise
- Experience in tendering and contracting processes within SAP Ariba as well as working with external facility partners / service providers and internal national departments
- You feel comfortable with MS Office, ideally you are also familiar with SAP Ariba or SAP HANA
- You’re fluent in conversational and written English and ideally you have knowledge of German
- You have a structured, analytical, and independent approach to work, with significant attention to detail
- You are pro-active, collaborative, and reliable, with great organisational skills and team-working ability
