Procurement Specialist - Travel (f/m/d)
How You'll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- As a Procurement Specialist - Travel, you’ll be responsible for in-depth analysis of your own projects including the planning, implementation and optimisation of our travel strategy
- Drafting and editing contracts and presentation documents complete your field of responsibility
- You’ll be responsible for handling tasks including own international projects and tenders including research, preparation and follow-up of contract negotiations
- You are excited by the task of managing international suppliers and collaborating with ALDI SOUTH countries worldwide
- As part of your role, you’ll maintain and control records according to deadlines and ensure that information in all systems is updated and accurate at all times
- You’ll be the contact person for developing existing and building new supplier relationships
- In addition, you’ll investigate and document existing business processes and propose overarching strategies
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- You have a proven track record of several years in a strategic role within sectors such as Travel Management Companies (TMCs), high-profile travel agencies, major airlines, or leading hotel chains and / or travel procurement
- You are experienced in national and international project management or coordination, demonstrating the ability to navigate and deliver results in complex environments
- You possess a strong command of MS-Office, particularly advanced Excel skills, and be adept at using these tools for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting
- You are fluent in English (native or C-level), with proficiency in German being highly desirable
- You excel in communication and negotiation with suppliers, building strategic partnerships that foster mutual success and add value
- A reliable, structured, and efficient working style is essential, along with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions that set you apart from your peers
- Thriving in fast-paced, dynamic work settings, demonstrating a self-driven and resilient mentality describes your personality

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 54.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
