Sr. Consultant - Intralogistics Solutions (f/m/d)

Tasks that await me

  • Develop intralogistics solutions of future supply chains for the ALDI South Group 
  • Act as expert advisor on concept automated facility design. Review layout plan, material flow processes, automation systems and general building parameters, estimate CAPEX/OPEX
  • Manage stakeholders in operations, internal experts, and external consultants
  • Evaluate intralogistics tender for automation solutions and provide technical recommendation
  • Review warehouse related network modelling inputs and calculate warehouse impacts per outputs (e.g., CAPEX)
  • Work in multinational project teams to understand business needs. Identify data requirements, work with data from various sources in an efficient manner 
  • Coach junior team member warehouse automation knowledge 

My qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master’s Degree or beyond in the field of engineering, logistics, supply chain management, business, or automation technology 
  • 6+ years of relevant supply chain experience (consulting, technical planning, automated warehousing design or implementation) is a must-have. Knowledge of retail warehouse is a plus
  • Expert knowledge of warehouse automated fulfilment technologies
  • Relevant experienced in project management, technical minded and business driven
  • Ability to build trust enabling the management and influencing of stakeholders at all levels
  • Advanced skills with MS Office suite, especially experience with Excel and BI tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (preferable also German) strong problem-solving skills, and a team player
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% internationally

Attractive gross annual salary starting from € 61,200.- for 38.5 hours per week
