Buying Manager - Household (f/m/d)

Tasks that await me

  • Management responsibilities within Household near-food sector
  • Potential involvement with onboarding Pet Food Category in the Global Sourcing Department 
  • Establish product know-how and indentifying optimization potential when buying one range for various country requirements
  • Perform strategic negotiations to achieve highest quailty products at the most competitive price  
  • Develop buying strategies and co-designing processes and reportings
  • Perform training and developing activities for a team of 4-5 direct reports
  • Develop and manage national and international supplier relationships 
  • Carrying out cost price and competition analyses

My qualifications

  • Prior Buying experience of 5+ years at manager level or above, preferred experience in Household (near-food); specific preference for Wraps & Cloths and/or Pet Food experience 
  • Fluent business English skills, other languages beneficial
  • Responsible, structured and result-oriented way of working
  • Strategic negotiation  skills and high degree of assertiveness and flexibility
  • Experienced in handling of the PC (especially MS Office), SAP knowledge beneficial
  • Readiness for international travel
  • Completed studies

Attractive gross annual salary starting from €92,150/- willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
